27 Dresses
Positive:

27 Dresse came out in January. Katherine Heigl stars in the movie and plays James Marsden. The movie has a PG rating and is one of the top chosen Christian comedy movies. In the movie, Jane suffers memory loss during her wedding. A man takes her home and she assumes the role as a bridesmaid, taking care of everyone else. She drives to make others happy but fails to achieve that inner happiness for herself. The romantic comedy takes Jane too many highly emotional extremes that lead her to hit the bar for a night of boozing. In the movie, Jane gets credit for helping a large number of friends get married. She soon sees the worst though as her young sister, Malin Akerman lets her know that the man Jane adores is engaged to her. Jane soon meets James playing Kevin.
Negative:
Christian movies are supposedly pure and innocence, but this movie has some unfavorable acts, which include sexuality and innuendo sexual content. In the movie we see deep kissing and a couple making out in a car and on a couch. We see a woman in her lingerie also. Various cuss words are used in the movie and we see violent content where a woman slaps a man hard across the face for wronging her. There is throwing of objects and fights amongst the sisters. Alcohol is also shown in the movie. There is lots of drinking at the wedding reception, and in a couple of scenes people get loaded down with alcohol.
Comment: While some of the content in this comedy is inappropriate to some Christian viewers, it is a matter of conscious as to if the movie is right for you. There are worse movies to consider, so this is probably one of the medium grades of moral pictures on the market.
