Summary

Sex and the City, by Christian Movie Reviews

Sex and the City

Positive:

Sex and the City on the positive side are all about four females in search of happiness. The movie has some good actors who plan their future. Carrie acts the part of a big planner who looks for an apartment in the city. She is a successful writer who works with a successful company and has a good life. Steve and Miranda live in a Brooklyn apartment with their child while Harry and Charlotte live a perfect life with Lily whom they have adopted. All the characters are happy and still married. Throughout the movie the girls interact and express their eagerness to learn. According to some viewers the movie has a lot of fun scripts and sad parts.

Negative:
On the negative side, Christians take a dislike to the narcissistic behaviors depicted by the female characters. The clothes the girls wear at times is ridiculous to some viewers. They may be unruly to some Christian viewers who do not enjoy the sleazy type. For Christians, this is a bad movie due to morality issues. There is lots of graphic nudity, language, and sexual content. Thus, the Rated R movie in my opinion is not fit to watch and is not a movie designed for Christian viewers or good moral people. What kind of movie producer would even label the movie as Christian when it goes against all of God’s rules? There is nudity visual throughout the scenes of both male and female and then there are revealing scenes of sex and various sexual jokes and references. The only up side of the movie is there is no blood, gore and violence.

Overall, this is not a good movie for Christian viewers, or those who still cling to their morals, values, and standards.
